the Rains are back in Manila
June.
Aside from the school year that resumes at this time of the year, there's one more thing Filipinos have to get used to when the month of June comes by: the unpredictable rains. And I would like to believe that umbrellas are just as essential as that bottle of sunscreen to combat the crazy weather that swings from pelting rainshowers to unbelievable heat waves.
That's probably what Eastwood City had in mind precisely when they set up this canopy of colorful umbrellas at the start of June. The place became so much more colorful it almost made me look forward to the changes in weather. Well, almost.
