Holy Week 2018: Places we went to

In between our obligatory Catholic church visits and other Holy Week responsibilities, our entire family was able to spend some time together in Subic, Olongapo. It was our first time to spend Holy Week there, and we enjoyed thoroughly the new environment along with great food and superb weather.

We stayed at the Moonbay Marina Villas, where my Dad has been a constant guest. It was NOT a five-star hotel, but we did have a spacious den in our room, along with a decent kitchen (complete with stove, refrigerator and water kettle), so it was definitely a comfortable experience. Plus, my son very much enjoyed their pool, since they had a small area for kids with a slide and wading area.

One of the places we visited, was the Adventure Beach Waterpark, a newly-opened theme pool park inside Subic Freeport Zone. It has a wide-array of pool slides, pool see-saws, ship ride and a giant trampoline. Our only regret coming here was that we went too late in the afternoon, and we had to squeeze in every attraction in just one and a half hours. Sure enough, they didn't fit in that small span of time. Nevertheless, we had loads of fun (and quite a lot of photos to prove it).

We also went to Anvaya Cove, the popular exclusive beach resort in Morong, Bataan, and experienced for the first time their swimming pool area. No surprise here, my son loved it as well.
