Celebrating a Decade (and More)

Hi, everyone! Yesterday was quite a bit of a day as my husband and I celebrated our first kind of anniversary--which was that first day we met. Cheesy, I know. And I don't know any other couple who still does that. But it was actually kind of fun. Our afternoon started with my husband giving me a surprise drive-thru at a nearby flower market and letting me pick my own flowers!

After that, we had a quick photoshoot at our favorite place. At this point, I really didn't want to put down the flowers...so  forgive me if practically all my photos are with me 

holding them up in every way! 

The highlight of the day for me, however, was during dinner. 

Over sumptuous fois gras, portobello mushrooms and tenderloin steak that we had in this chic place called VASK, my adorable husband finally drops the news to me: Yes, we are going to Paris for our honeymoon! Yes!! He finally gives in to my honeymoon request! There will always be the next year to go to New York (which was our original plan). But this year will be for Paris! 

I seriously can't wait! ...And I seriously have to save up (especially since there will be an inescapable opportunity for some serious shopping!)
